Guard and NBA draft prospect Melo Trimble said there is a 50-50 chance he returns to Maryland for one more season.

Trimble made the comments in an interview with ESPN’s Andy Katz.

Trimble is currently participating in the NBA’s scouting combine for the upcoming draft. Trimble has until May 25 to either return to school or prepare for an NBA career, and said earlier this week he would wait until then to make his decision.

ESPN’s Jeff Goodman reported many NBA scouts believe Trimble should return to the Terrapins for one more season.

Trimble has played two seasons at Maryland. In 2015–16, he averaged 14.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game.
