Clemson freshman WR dismissed from team for poor attitude

Thursday September 4th, 2014

Clemson freshman wide receiver Kyrin Priester was dismissed from the team because of his attitude, head coach Dabo Swinney announced after Wednesday's practice.

Priester entered Clemson in January as a true freshman and played on special teams in the team's opener against Georgia.

“Kyrin has been dismissed from the team for an attitude that is not acceptable to our standards,” said Swinney.

Priester was ranked as a three-star recruit coming out of high school and the 54th best player in the state of Georgia. He chose Clemson over offers from Ohio State, South Carolina, Georgia, TCU and others.

Clemson plays South Carolina State on Saturday. The Tigers lost their opener to Georgia, 45-21.
