USC linebacker Hayes Pullard was ejected from Saturday's game against Stanford for targeting after he hit Cardinal receiver Ty Montgomery on a kick return.

Pullard drove his helmet into Montgomery's facemask near the sideline.

Pullard, a fourth-year starter, recorded a team-high 94 tackles next season. Because the penalty occurred in the second half, Pullard will not be able to play in the first half of next week's game at Boston College.
