Arizona State upsets USC on late Hail Mary pass

Arizona State quarterback Mike Bercovici completed a 46-yard Hail Mary touchdown pass to receiver Jaelen Strong as time expired to upset No. 16 USC, 38-34, Saturday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.


That touchdown was one of three the Sun Devils converted in the final four minutes. Bercovici finished the game with 510 passing yards and five touchdowns on 27-of-45 passing, while Strong recorded 202 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 10 receptions.

The win improves the Sun Devils' record to 4-1 and drops the Trojans to 3-2. 

Arizona beat Cal on a last-second Hail Mary pass two weeks ago.
