Kierre Hawkins, a versatile pass-catcher from Maple Heights, Ohio, verbally committed to Ohio State on Saturday, according to reports.

Hawkins, who also drew scholarship offers from Kentucky and Illinois, among other programs, is the No. 13 tight end in the class of 2016, according to rankings on the recruiting website Rivals.com.

Hawkins is the third player in the class of 2016 to commit to the Buckeyes, joining four-star athlete George Hill and four-star offensive lineman Tyler Gerald, according to Rivals.com.
