Four-star LB Jerome Baker flips from Florida to Ohio State

Four-star outside linebacker Jerome Baker has flipped his verbal commitment from Florida to Ohio State, he announced on Twitter Tuesday. 

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Baker is ranked as the No. 1 recruit from his 2015 class in the state and the No. 36 player nationally by Rivals.

Baker originally committed to Florida over the Buckeyes in July. He had offers from a host of other schools, including Georgia, Florida State, Michigan State and Notre Dame. 

The 6-foot-1, 206 pound linebacker becomes the 18th verbal commit to Urban Meyer from the Class of 2015. Ohio State's class is ranked No. 15 in the nation by Rivals, and includes seven four-stars.

The Gators are 3-3 this season and have lost two straight. No. 13 Ohio State is 5-1.
