Jacques Patrick, a senior running back from Timber Creek, Fla., announced at his high school on Monday that he has verbally committed to Florida State.

Patrick, who had narrowed his options to the Seminoles, Florida, Alabama, Ohio State and Texas A&M, is the No. 2 running back and No. 17 player in the class of 2015, according to rankings on the recruiting website Rivals.com.

The 6-foot-1, 224-pound Patrick is the second running back and 19th player in the class of 2015 to commit to Florida State.

The Seminoles' 2015 recruiting class is now ranked sixth in the country by Rivals.com.
