Ohio State releases statement on missing walk-on football player
Thursday November 27th, 2014

Police are searching for Ohio State reserve defensive lineman Kosta Karageorge, according to Jerod Smalley of NBC4 Columbus.

Karageorge's mother posted a message on Facebook saying a missing person report has been filed for him and that he has been missing since 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Karageorge reportedly did not show up at Ohio State's practice on Thursday morning. Someone posted a message on a Twitter account that appears to belong to him early on Thursday.

Karageorge, who is from Columbus, joined the Buckeyes football team in August as a walk-on. He previously wrestled at Ohio State, winning 35 matches as a senior.
