Florida defensive coodinator/interim head coach D.J. Durkin and USC offensive line coach Tim Drevno had Michigan email addresses registered in their name on Monday, according to Baumgardner. Both men have previous experience serving as assistants to Harbaugh.
Durkin most recently served as the Florida Gators interim head coach for their appearance in the Birmingham Bowl this month after serving as the team's defensive coordinator for the last two seasons. Prior to joining Florida, Durkin was the defensive line coach for Harbaugh at Stanford.
Drevno has more experience with Harbaugh, and is believed to be his choice to serve as the new Michigan offensive coordinator. He worked with Harbaugh during college stops at San Diego and Stanford and also in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers.
Michigan finished 5-7 last season, failing to qualify for a bowl game for just the third time since 1974.
