Texas linebacker Dalton Santos injured his ankle at practice, the school announced on Friday.
Texas linebacker Dalton Santos injured his ankle at practice, the school announced on Friday.
Santos, a 6'3'', 252-pound senior, is considered a candidate to start at middle linebacker this season.
Freshman linebacker Malik Jefferson posted the following message to his Twitter account on Friday evening:
Over 10 games in 2014, Santos recorded 12 total tackles and two quarterback hurries.
