Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury had some choice works for Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema after his Red Raiders knocked off the Razorbacks 35–24 on Saturday.

In the post-game press conference, Kingsbury went after Bielema for comments that he made during a summer convention for Texas high school football coaches.

"[Bielema] stood up and said if you don't play with a full back, we'll kick your a--, if you throw it 70 times a game we'll kick your a--," Kingsbury said. "He just got his a-- kicked twice in a row, and probably next week by [Texas] A&M as well."

Kingsbury and Texas Tech are known for employing the air raid offense, which uses shotgun formations and four receiver sets to focus on passing. The Red Raiders and quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 119 more yards than Arkansas, while the Razorbacks kept the ball on the ground, running 67% of the time.

Arkansas lost in a major upset in Week 2, falling 16–12 to Toledo. Texas Tech is 3–0 after blowing out Sam Houston State and UTEP in its first two games.
