Virginia Tech cornerback Kendall Fuller has declared for the NFL draft.
Fuller, a junior, underwent meniscus surgery and missed the final nine games of the season.
The younger brother of NFL players Vincent, Corey and Kyle Fuller, all of whom played for the Hokies, Fuller started 28 of 29 career games at Virginia Tech, making eight interceptions, defending 35 passes and breaking up 27 of them.
"Virginia Tech is better because the Fuller brothers were Hokies," coach Frank Beamer said in a statement. “Vinny, Corey, Kyle and Kendall were all different, but they were all the same in that they were smart, competitive, very athletic and great teammates, who possessed great character.”
Vincent Fuller, a safety, was a fourth-round pick and played for the Titans and Lions. Corey Fuller, a receiver, was a sixth-round pick in 2013 and currently plays for the Lions, and Kyle, a cornerback, was the Bears’ 2014 first-round selection.
