Four-star quarterback recruit Tua Tagovailoa committed to Alabama on Monday night. 

The 6’3”, 216-pound quarterback from Honolulu had offers from Hawaii, UCLA, USC, Arizona, Washington and others.

According to Scout.com, Tagovailoa is the fifth best quarterback in the nation for the class of 2017 and 43rd best recruit overall. The Hawaii native is a duel threat quarterback with a strong arm. 

Tagovailoa attends Saint Louis High School, the same high school current Tennessee quarterback Marcus Mariota attended. 

Alabama opens its season against USC on Sept. 3.
