Quarterback Treon Harris will transfer from Florida, the school announced Monday.

Harris played in 11 games for the Gators last season, completing 50.6 percent of his passes for 1,676 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions.

He was named to the SEC All-Freshman team in 2014 after throwing for 1,019 yards and nine touchdowns.

Harris was suspended for violating team rules in the spring, along with receiver Antonio Callaway, but has since been reinstated.

The junior was expected to transition from quarterback to wide receiver with the Gators.

Luke Del Rio is expected to be the starter for Florida going into the 2016 season.
