The gemstone of Lew Alcindor's three seasons, during which the Bruins went 88-2. At the Final Four they avenged their sole loss, to Houston, with a 40-point blowout.

1972-73 UCLA (30-0)

Bill Walton goes 21-for-22 in the title game for the Bruins against Memphis, who complete their second straight undefeated season.

1975-76 Indiana (32-0)

Without a dominant center, the Hoosiers assemble grit and balance around the serviceable Kent Benson. No team has gone unbeaten since.

1955-56 San Francisco (29-0)

Twenty is the number to remember for the unbeaten Dons: a 20-point average victory margin as Bill Russell averaged a 20-20 in points and rebounds.
