College Football Top 25 Review
The presumptive national champions got 30 passing yards from their quarterback and still won by 32 points. Tyrann Mathieu (pictured) shifted the momentum with a punt return touchdown, and LSU reeled off 42 straight after Georgia got out to a 10-0 lead.
Will it be enough? Oklahoma State made its case for a BCS national championship game bid by destroying archrival Oklahoma in the Bedlam game. Jeremy Smith (pictured) rushed for 119 yards and two scores as the Cowboys racked up 495 yards on offense and forced five turnovers on defense.
Clemson beat Virginia Tech earlier this season, but after dropping three of four the Tigers seemed like the inferior team. Not so. DeAndre Hopkins (pictured) and the Tigers came to life on offense, amassing 457 yards to secure a BCS berth.
Quarterback Austin Davis (pictured) threw four touchdown passes as Southern Miss shocked the Cougars, wrecking their perfect season and chance at a BCS bowl bid.
LaMichael James (pictured) ran for 219 yards and three touchdowns as Oregon locked up a Rose Bowl bid with a one-sided win over UCLA on Friday in the inaugural Pac-12 Championship Game.
Boise State can't earn an automatic BCS bid since TCU won the Mountain West, but the Broncos padded their at-large resume with a beatdown of New Mexico. Geraldo Boldewijn (pictured) was one of 12 receivers Kellen Moore hit on the day.
This, at least, was one rematch everyone could get behind. Wisconsin and Michigan State staged their second thrilling showdown of the season, but with a different result: Behind a four-touchdown night from Montee Ball (pictured) Wisconsin pulled out the win to earn back-to-back Rose Bowl berths.
Iowa State put up a good fight, but John Hubert (pictured) saved the day with a 26-yard touchdown dash to give Kansas State the final edge. The Wildcats improved to 10-2 with the victory.
TCU is the Mountain West champion in its last season in the league. Matthew Tucker (pictured) was one of five Horned Frogs to score on the ground against the Rebels; the win keeps TCU's BCS hopes alive.
Robert Griffin III (pictured) made his final Heisman statement of the season, leading his Bears to a decisive victory over Texas. Griffin passed for two touchdowns and ran for two more to help Baylor improve to 9-3 on the year.
Wide receiver Stedman Bailey (pictured) made a diving catch to set up the winning field goal in West Virginia's narrow win at South Florida on Thursday. The victory clinched a share of the Big East championship for the Mountaineers.
