Isaiah Canaan

Stats to know: 19.0 ppg, 3.6 apg, 45.6% 3s A preseason All-American from the Ohio Valley, and well deserved. He may have to carry an even larger load for the Racers this season.

Rotnei Clarke

Stats to know: 15.2 ppg, 43.8% 3s at Arkansas in 2010-11 He's the shooter (and hopefully the point guard) the Bulldogs were lacking last season. Three seasons of torching the SEC from behind the arc suggest he will be a very capable solution.

Jake Cohen

Stats to know: 14.3 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 87.6% FT A legitimate 6-foot-10 guy with skill who combines with De'Mon Brooks to give the Wildcats a strong 1-2 frontcourt punch. Davidson dumped national finalist Kansas last season and should pick up more major pelts this season.

D.J. Cooper

Stats to know: 14.6 ppg, 5.7 apg He burst onto the national scene during Ohio's big upset of Georgetown in the 2010 NCAAs and continued in his high-volume style for the next two seasons. He wasn't quite as good last year, so a bounceback senior campaign would do wonders for the Bobcats in the MAC.

Matthew Dellavedova

Stats to know: 15.4 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 85.7% FT The latest Aussie point guard to have a huge impact in Moraga. He can score and he can create baskets for everyone else, which is why the Gaels have a chance to pip Gonzaga in the WCC.

Jamaal Franklin

Stats to know: 17.7 ppg, 7.9 rpg After putting up huge numbers for the surprising Aztecs last season, Franklin will have more help this season ... and draw more attention from opponents. Survey says he'll be just fine and so will the Aztecs in the Mountain West.

Langston Galloway

Stats to know: 15.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 46.6% 3s One of the best three-point shooters in the land, Galloway takes and makes them in bulk. He also does a serviceable job on the glass for a guard, although that might not be needed as much on this season's Hawks.

DeAndre Kane

Stats to know: 16.5 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 3.5 apg Looking for a bit of a bounceback season following a slightly understated sophomore season (one in which his father passed away). Still the main man for the Herd, Kane should be ready to create a lot of problems in Conference USA.

C.J. McCollum

Stats to know: 21.9 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 3.5 apg The Duke game made his reputation nationally, but those in the know have been watching him dominate since he won the Patriot ROY/POY double as a freshman. He can shoot it and also get to the rim with ease.

Doug McDermott

Stats to know: 22.9 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 48.6% 3s A frontcourt stud whose sweet inside-outside game makes him one of the most efficient high-volume scorers in the country. If Doug's not the only "D" in Omaha this season, the Bluejays have the talent to make a deep March run.

Preston Medlin

Stats to know: 17.0 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 3.4 apg If you don't know him, get to know him because he's the latest offensive sensation from the annually efficient Aggies. With a maturing cast around him, this could be the year Medlin and Co. splash back onto the national scene.

Tony Mitchell

Stats to know: 14.7 ppg, 10.3 rpg An almost certain first-round pick whenever he leaves the Mean Green, the 6-8 Mitchell could emerge as a dominant force in the Sun Belt. He averaged a double-double last season as a freshman while taking only nine shots a game.

Mike Moser

Stats to know: 14.0 ppg, 10.7 rpg, 1.9 spg Lengthy, lanky and lethal, Moser hits the glass with the best of them while also possessing legitimate jump shot range. Oh, and he may play some 3 for the Rebels this season thanks to their great frontcourt depth. That's not fair.

Kevin Pangos

Stats to know: 13.6 ppg, 3.4 apg, 40.1% 3s Expected to be a major weapon for the Zags as a sophomore after a very solid freshman campaign. The Canadian import should lead a very talented team into the NCAAs and maybe a couple rounds deep.

Nate Wolters

Stats to know: 21.2 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 5.9 apg A long-time hero to KenPom.com disciples, Wolters helped lead the Jackrabbits to the NCAAs last season and should again this campaign. Last season, he was a member of the very exclusive 20-5-5 club.
