Rivals' Top DBs in 2013 Recruiting Class
Vernon Hargreaves III
The No. 2 overall recruit in the class of 2013, Hargreaves finished his senior season with 110 tackles, five interceptions, five forced fumbles and five pass deflections. He also dominated the Under Armour All-America Game, earning MVP honors after tallying five tackles, two pass breakups and a pick. The Tampa, Fla., prospect maintains a 3.8 GPA and will attend Florida in the fall.
Kendall Fuller
Like his three older brothers before him, Fuller will continue his football career at Virginia Tech. The five-star standout from Olney, Md., was a star on both sides of the ball, finishing his senior year with three interceptions on defense and more than 1,000 all-purpose yards on offense.
Jalen Ramsey
The Nashville native is a sure-tackling cornerback who is rarely targeted. Ramsey wrapped up his senior season with 38 tackles and three interceptions.
Su'a Cravens
The Murrieta, Calif., product was a one-man wrecking crew for Vista Murrieta High. Cravens played running back, wide receiver and safety en route to 13 touchdowns, 95 tackles and three interceptions.
Tre'Davious White
A late-rising prospect, White dazzled scouts at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The LSU pledge shut down heralded receiver Ricky Seals-Jones and later returned an interception for a touchdown.
Leon McQuay III
A star at powerhouse Armwood High in Seffner, Fla., McQuay could contribute to the Trojans' secondary immediately. He finished his senior season with 54 tackles, five interceptions, one forced fumble and one blocked field goal.
Max Redfield
The Mission Viejo, Calif., product appeared to be a USC lock from the beginning, but he offered his commitment to Notre Dame on Jan. 4. Redfield was the top defender on an 11-win team in one of the most competitive regions of high school football in the country.
Vonn Bell
Another late riser, Bell is one of the top prospects in the nation. The Rossville, Ga., safety committed to Ohio State over Tennessee on Signing Day.
Chris Hawkins
One of several highly touted prospects to come out of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Hawkins shined during his senior campaign. The future Trojan cornerback notched 53 tackles and two interceptions in 2012.
Cameron Burrows
The Trotwood, Ohio, native will represent his home-state Buckeyes at the next level. Burrows has drawn comparisons to Nnamdi Asomugha, and he enrolled early and will participate in spring practice.
