Florida International has dismissed running back Kedrick Rhodes from the program for a violation of team policy, the school announced on Monday.
While FIU did not specify Rhodes' transgression, the dismissal likely stems from Rhodes' reported arrest over the weekend. The Miami Herald reported that Rhodes was arrested late Sunday night and charged with firing a weapon on school property. Rhodes was charged with discharging the weapon on school property, a second-degree felony, and three misdemeanors.
