Mark Richt and James Franklin

Vanderbilt coach James Franklin is no stranger to energizing a fan base. In almost three seasons in Nashville the coach has rejuvenated an SEC bottom-feeder into a nine-win program, and the fans have largely responded.

Now that he's improved the on-field product, Franklin is doing his part to make sure those fans can actually see the Commodores play.

Vandy fan JD tweeted on Tuesday that he won't be able to attend the Commodores' opener against Ole Miss because he'll be at work.

Franklin responded by offering some help.
