Wide receiver Chris Boyd is among three other individuals who have been indicted amid the continuing investigation into a sexual assault that occurred on Vanderbilt's campus in June, The Tennessean reports.

Boyd is being charged with a felony count of being an accessory after the fact, for allegedly taking part in an attempted cover-up of the assault. Two California men -- Miles Joseph Finley, 19, of Bermuda Dunes, Calif., and Joseph Dominick Quinzio, 20, of Palm Desert, Calif. -- are charged with one felony count each for tampering with evidence. Finley and Quinzio are friends with ex-Vanderbilt tight end Brandon Vandenburg, one of four other former Commodores who are defendants in the case and were indicted last week.

According to the report, Finley has already been apprehended. Boyd is expected to surrender to authorities, while Quinzio remains at large.

Jeff Lockridge of The Tennessean reports that Boyd has been suspended by Vanderbilt as the investigation continues:

Safety Cory Batey, defensive back Brandon Banks, receiver Jaborian "Tip" McKenzie and Vandenburg were indicted on Aug. 9 for the alleged rape of an unconscious woman inside Vandenburg's dormitory early on June 23. The four players, who were dismissed from the university on June 29, were charged with five counts of aggravated rape and two counts of aggravated sexual battery.
