The past week has been a turbulent one in Austin. Football coach Mack Brown fired defensive coordinator Manny Diaz on Sunday, a day after the Longhorns allowed a school-record 550 rushing yards in a loss at BYU. Brown's job security has been questioned more than ever. Dodds has also come under fire because the football, men's basketball and baseball teams have underperformed recently. Texas generates more revenue than any athletic department in the country, in large part thanks to the fundraising machine built by Dodds. But with the results on the field and court not matching the results on the balance sheet, Dodds' leadership has been called into question. The Longhorns' football team faces Ole Miss on Saturday in Austin.
