Tyler Ulis agrees to go to Kentucky

As expected by pretty much everyone over the last few days, Chicago point guard Tyler Ulis, a top prospect in the Class of 2014, picked Kentucky over Iowa and Michigan. Ulis announced his decision Friday night.

The 5-foot-8 Ulis was a necessary get for the Wildcats, who needed a point guard in next year's class. UK missed out earlier on Emmanuel Mudiay, who made a surprise decision to stay near home and play at SMU. The Class of '14 is mostly spoken for in terms of top point guards, save for Tyus Jones, whose recruitment may end up being in lockstep with No. 1 overall recruit Jahlil Okafor.
