USC running back Silas Redd left the Trojans' 62-28 win over Cal on Saturday with an injured right knee, the school announced.

Redd injured his knee with USC leading 21-0 in the first quarter. Trainers were seen applying ice to Redd's leg on the sidelines as the tailback donned a baseball cap.

The senior, who transferred to Southern Cal from Penn State after the 2011 season, has carried the ball 76 times for 351 yards and one touchdown this fall. Before leaving the game against the Bears, Redd had rushed six times for 19 yards. He also caught a 12-yard touchdown pass, his first scoring reception of the season.
