UCLA offensive tackle Torian White was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The redshirt sophomore was arrested at 3 a.m. on Sunday morning at an apartment complex near the UCLA campus.
In a statement, Bruins coach Jim Mora would not provide details of the incident, but he confirmed on Tuesday that White has been suspended indefinitely.
"We are aware of the situation involving Torian White, and we take these accusations very seriously,” UCLA Coach Jim Mora said in statement. “Torian has been suspended from the team indefinitely while the legal process and student discipline process run their course. Due to the ongoing police investigation, we are unable to discuss this matter further at this time.”
