Auburn's up-tempo offense is a trademark of Gus Malzahn's coaching style. Now, the coach is working to land an actual trademark for a phrase that best describes his offensive philosophy.
Jon Solomon of the Birmingham News reports that Malzahn's Arkansas-based company HUNH, LLC has filed an application to trademark the phrase "Hurry Up No Huddle." The phrase has been sold on T-shirts in an Auburn bookstore.
As a high school coach in Arkansas, Malzahn wrote a book entitled, ""The Hurry-Up, No-Huddle: An Offensive Philosophy."
