Former NDSU standout Taylor Braun playing in NBA Summer League

FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- Former North Dakota State University basketball standout Taylor Braun will play for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Braun was the Summit League player of the year last season, and an honorable mention selection on The Associated Press All-America basketball team.

The Newberg, Oregon, native concluded his NDSU career ranked among the school's all-time top 10 in nine statistical categories, including points, steals and rebounds.

Twenty-four teams will compete in this year's NBA Summer League from July 11-21 on the campus of UNLV.
