Nick Zeisloft transfers from Illinois State to Indiana

Indiana coach Tom Crean says the Hoosiers have added to their roster 6-4 guard Nick Zeisloft, who is transferring from Illinois State after earning his degree in finance.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) -- Indiana coach Tom Crean says the Hoosiers have added to their roster 6-4 guard Nick Zeisloft, who is transferring from Illinois State after earning his degree in finance.

Crean says Zeisloft, who will be eligible to play this season, brings a physical and mental toughness and will allow the Hoosiers to spread the floor more.

Zeisloft played two seasons for the Redbirds, averaging 6.9 points and 3.4 rebounds a game this past season, when he started 30 of 34 games. He shot 35.5 percent from 3-point range, making 60 of 169 shots.

Zeisloft redshirted the 2011-12 season and has two years of eligibility left. He is from La Grange, Illinois.
