Pete Carroll elected to USC Hall of Fame
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll was elected to the University of Southern California's Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2015, the school announced on Monday.
Carroll won a pair of BCS national championships at USC with running back Reggie Bush and quarterback Matt Leinart in 2003 and 2004. He left the Trojans for the NFL in January 2010, five months before the NCAA imposed sanctions on the program related to Bush's time on the team. The sanctions included a two year bowl ban, loss of scholarships and vacating 14 wins during Bush's career.

During Carroll's nine years in charge of the team, USC went 96-19, but has only gone 33-17 since he left amid the NCAA penalties. USC fired Lane Kiffin in September 2013 and replaced him with University of Washington coach Steve Sarkisian in December 2013.
