Five-star recruit Kahlil McKenzie commits to Tennessee
Five-star defensive tackle recruit Kahlil McKenzie committed Thursday night to play football at Tennessee. McKenzie, a part of the class of 2015, chose Tennessee over Arizona, according to SB Nation. He announced his decision on ESPNU.
McKenzie, already with a monstrous 6-foot-4, 341-pound frame, plans to play his final season at Concord (California) Clayton Valley High School. He had also received offers from Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas and USC, among others, according to SB Nation.
ESPN.com ranked McKenzie the 11th-best defensive tackle in the class of 2015, while 247sports ranked him second among defensive tackles. He will follow his father, Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie, and his uncle, Raiders scout Raleigh McKenzie, who both played at Tennessee.
