The 20-year-old rising junior is one of the Gators' best perimeter defenders and was slated to be their sixth man this season.
He played 35 games last season, including seven starts, and averaged 2.4 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. But he also had 13 blocks and was 19-for-63 (30.2 percent) from three-point range.
