Former Baylor wide receiver and four-star recruit Robbie Rhodes is transferring to Bowling Green, reports Max Olson of ESPN.com

Rhodes was dismissed from the Baylor program in June. Rhodes was arrested in May on charges of marijuana possession and tampering with physical evidence, though the county district attorney declined to pursue the charges. ESPN reported that Rhodes was dismissed in June following another violation, the nature of which was undisclosed.

Rhodes caught 10 passes for 157 yards, including a 52-yard grab, in his freshman year for Baylor. Rhodes was a highly-touted recruit in the class of 2013. He was ranked as the No. 8 wide receiver in his class by Rivals.com

Olson reports that Rhodes will sit out the 2014 season and have three remaining years of eligibility. He will join new Falcons head coach Dino Babers, who coached wide receivers at Baylor in 2008 and plans to run a Baylor-style offense at Bowling Green.
