Report: Patrick Beilein to join Utah Jazz staff

The son of Michigan coach John Beilein will reportedly join the Utah Jazz's coaching staff. Patrick Beilein will leave his head coaching position at Division II West Virginia Wesleyan for a player development and video coordinator role in Utah.

The son of Michigan coach John Beilein will join the Utah Jazz's coaching staff, according to a report from Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

Patrick Beilein, 29, will leave his head coaching position at Division II West Virginia Wesleyan for a player development and video coordinator role in Utah.

The Jazz hired former Atlanta Hawks assistant Quin Snyder as their head coach this offseason.

Beilein played for John at West Virginia from 2002-06 and served as a graduate assistant at Michigan and an assistant at Dartmouth and Bradley.

West Virginia Wesleyan went 12-15 under Beilein last season.
