Division III Williams College's Duncan Robinson transferring to Michigan
Duncan Robinson announced on Twitter Wednesday that he will transfer from Williams College, a member of the Division III New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), to Michigan.
Robinson had been considering the Wolverines and Davidson, according to NBC Sports.
“I really made the decision that the only schools that were worth leaving Williams — because I value Williams so much — would be a school that competes at a really high level and one that is great academically,” Robinson said on Tuesday evening. “With that in mind, I weeded out a lot of those options and it came down to those two.”

Last season, Robinson averaged 17.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, shot 45 percent from beyond the arc and was named DIII National Rookie of the Year.
The 6-foot-7 forward helped lead the Ephs to a 28-5 record and an appearance in the DIII national championship game.
Williams coach Mike Maker left the school this summer to take over as head coach at Marist.

The Wolverines went 28-9 and earned a No. 2 seed in the 2014 NCAA Tournament before falling to No. 8 seed Kentucky in the Elite Eight.
