Colorado State adds PG transfer Antwan Scott, eligible immediately
The Colorado State Rams and coach Larry Eustachy have picked up point guard transfer Antwan Scott, according to The News Star.
Scott graduated from his former school, Grambling, and will therefore be eligible to play immediately. He chose Colorado State over Tennessee.
"I'm excited," Scott said. "I'm ready to do it. I'm not going to lie. I'm lost for words. I'm a Ram now ... Coach Eustachy is one of the best one's doing it right now, to be honest."
The point guard led Grambling in scoring last season with 15.7 points and 3.7 assists per game. He shot 80.6 percent from the free throw line and 39.2 percent from the perimeter.

Scott began his collegiate career at two-year school Ranger College. He transferred to Idaho but never played a game there, going to Grambling to be closer to his mother, who was ill. His mother died last fall, after which he developed a close bond with ex-Grambling coach Joseph Price.
Price was fired by the school on July 1, leading to Scott's decision to transfer yet again.
He visited Colorado State on Thursday and Tennessee on Sunday before making his decision with his support team, according to TheNews Star.
