Memphis sophomore forward Dominic Woodson will transfer, the program announced Thursday.

Woodson played in 20 games as a freshman last season, averaging 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds in 6.8 minutes.

He was involved in several disciplinary incidents, ejected from a game against Gonzaga in February due to a flagrant foul and suspended by Memphis coach Josh Pastner later in the month for his behavior on the team's bench. Woodson also wasn't allowed to travel to the team's NCAA Tournament game for disciplinary reasons.

Earlier this summer, Woodson was involved in an altercation with Tigers football player Robert Davis in which Davis was reportedly the aggressor.

A native of Huntington, W. Va., Woodson was rated the No. 80 recruit in the country by Rivals.com in the class of 2013.

Last week, Memphis reportedly gained a transfer in Southern forward Calvin Godfrey.
