Alabama Crimson Tide 2014 schedule
The Alabama Crimson Tide finished second in the SEC West in the 2013 season and went 11-2 (7-1), with the lone loss coming on the dramatic last-second field goal-return touchdown by the Auburn Tigers. Alabama then fell 45-31 to the Oklahoma Sooners in the Sugar Bowl. The Crimson Tide rank second in SI's preseason Top 25.
Alabama loses its starting quarterback in AJ McCarron, but the Tide return running backs T.J. Yeldon and Derrick Henry, along with wide receiver Amari Cooper, a member of SI's preseason All-American team. The team will have to replace several starters on defense but returns linebacker Trey DePriest and safety Landon Collins, both of whom were named to SI's All-American second team.
