Minnesota Golden Gophers 2014 schedule
The Minnesota Golden Gophers finished last season 8-5 overall, placing fourth in the Big Ten Legends division with a 4-4 conference record. The team lost to Syracuse in the Texas Bowl.
Running back David Cobb, who rushed for 1,202 yards and seven touchdowns last season, returns for the Golden Gophers. Sophomore quarterback Mitch Leidner will have a big target to throw to in tight end Maxx Williams. Minnesota lost defensive tackle Ra'ShedeHageman to the NFL, but cornerback Derrick Wells returns to lead an experienced group of defensive backs.
