Junior college class of 2015 shooting guard T.J. Dunans has committed to Auburn, CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein reports.

Considered among the best juco guards in the country, Dunans averaged 22.8 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game as a freshman last season at Columbia State Community College in Columbia, Tenn. He picked the Tigers over offers from Cincinnati, Penn State and West Virginia.

According to CBS Sports, Dunans became the third 2015 prospect to commit to Auburn over the weekend, joining four-star forwards Horace Spencer and Danjel Purifoy. Spencer is rated the No. 73 player in the country by Rivals, and Purifoy is rated No. 80 overall.

The commitments came shortly after Auburn coach Bruce Pearl's three-year NCAA show cause penalty expired at midnight Saturday night, allowing him to fully recruit. Pearl was hired by Auburn this spring following a stint as an analyst for ESPN after he was fired by Tennessee in 2011 for incurring NCAA violations.

Auburn went 14-16 last season. The team hasn't made the NCAA tournament since 2003.
