The 6-foot-11 Marshall is in the 2015 class but plans to reclassify and graduate with the 2016 class, according to his AAU coach, Norton Hurd. Marshall would be the second commit in the 2016 class for Memphis, joining five-star forward Dedric Lawson.

Marshall chose Memphis over offers from Florida, Indiana, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Auburn and others.

He shared his plans for college with Scout.com:

“First and foremost I want to get my degree,” Marshall explained. “After that it is about basketball, and with who Memphis is bringing in, in 2015 and 2016 I really think we will have a chance to win a national championship."
