Ohio State establishes new protocols for fan behavior at stadium

Ohio State is asking fans to assist authorities in weeding out unruly behavior at football games this season. 

According to Landgrantholyland.com, Ohio State has issued new rules for regulating fan behavior. Fans can now use their smartphones to text problems to game staff members.

Fans can text ‘BRUTUS’ to the number 69050 to receive assistance from stadium personnel. Fans that are “misbehaving, swearing, inebriated” will be dealt with by staff. 

Originally, it was reported that fans could be reported for standing during game play, but Urban Meyer's wife, Shelley, clarified that only unruly fans will be reported. 

The eighth-ranked Buckeyes play Virginia Tech in their first home game of the season on Saturday.
