The Big East Conference will launch a year-round digital network which will be distributed on Fox Sports' online platform, commissioner Val Ackerman told Bloomberg.

Ackerman said the network will carry 80-100 games each year and will be available on Fox Sports Go.

“This is a way to get additional exposure to women’s sports and Olympic sports,” Ackerman said.

She said the network will also cover news and do highlights.
