Presbyterian beats Bluefield 69-14

CLINTON, S.C. (AP) LaQua Mayes ran for 161 yards and two touchdowns and Presbyterian dominated Bluefield 69-14 on Saturday night.

Presbyterian (1-1) outgained Bluefield 678-258 in total yards in its first night game at home since Oct. 27, 1990. The Blue Hose scored touchdowns on 10 of 13 drives to record their most points as a Division I program.

Heys McMath was 7 of 8 for 155 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Daryl Wilson had four catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns.

The Blue Hose averaged 8.4 yards per carry for 523 yards and seven touchdown runs.

Bluefield (0-2) gave up the first 55 points of the game against their first NCAA Division I opponent. David Gianesin was a bright spot for the Rams with six catches for 126 yards.
