D.J. Hogg, a top-50 recruit in the class of 2015, has verbally committed to play for Texas A&M. He announced the commitment Sunday night on his Twitter feed.

Hogg chose to play for the Aggies and head coach Billy Kennedy over Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Arizona, and UCLA. His decision came just after his official visit to College Station.

"Texas A&M has always been one of my favorites. I had to get my dad on board, who liked Baylor." Hogg told ESPN.com

It's the second big recruiting coup for Kennedy, who also secured the commitment of four-star big man Tyler Davis in August.

"I love playing with Tyler. He makes the game easy for me. He is so unselfish," Hogg told ESPN.

Hogg averaged 20.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.6 blocked shots and 2.3 assists as a junior with Plano West High School in Plano, Texas, according to Max Preps. He is rated No. 28 in ESPN.com's top 100 recruits in the class of 2015.

Texas A&M went 18-16 last season, missing the NCAA tournament for the third straight season.
