LSU wide receiver Travin Dural was reportedly injured in a car accident Saturday night and missed practice on both Monday and Tuesday, reports USA Today

Dural reportedly bumped his head when the car he was driving was hit from behind and required several stitches on his forehead.

The Advocate reports that Dural sustained a “deep laceration" to the head and that his status for Saturday's game versus Louisana-Monroe is uncertain. The stitches keep him from being able to wear a helmet, which is why he's been held out of practice.

Through two games, Dural has six catches for 291 yards and four touchdowns. He is the team's leading receiver.

USA Today reports that LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette had no comment on Duval and that he referred questions to coach Les Miles. Miles is scheduled to meet with the media Wednesday night.
