Texas A&M and Rice met annually from 1914 through 1995, then did not meet again until last season, when the Aggies won 52-31.

Quarterback Kenny Hill needs 206 passing yards against the Owls to become the first Aggie to reach 1,000 yards in three games.

The Aggies have yet to allow a fourth quarter point this season.

Texas A&M ranks second in the FBS in passing offense, averaging 458 yards per game.

Texas A&M will be seeking its 17th straight win over the Owls. Rice's last win in the series came in 1980.
