Two of Duke's starting linemen, senior defensive end Dezmond Johnson and junior offensive guard Lucas Patrick, were carted off in the first quarter of Saturday's game against Kansas.

Patrick appeared in all 14 (and started one) game last season, while Johnson recorded 22 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss.

The Blue Devils are 2-0 this season with wins over Elon and Troy.
