Iowa State likely loses two players for season with injuries
Iowa State coach Paul Rhoads said Monday that two players are likely to miss the rest of the season after suffering injuries in Saturday's win over Iowa.
Sophomore offensive lineman Jacob Dunning ruptured his patellar tendon, while sophomore wide receiver P.J. Harris broke a bone in his leg.
Both players will have to undergo surgery.

Dunning has been playing in a reserve role this season, while Harris has caught nine passes for 55 yards.
The Cyclones also lost their top receiver, Quenton Bundrage, for the season with a torn ACL earlier this month.
Iowa State, which is 1-2 with a win over Iowa and losses to North Dakota State and Kansas State, hosts Baylor (3-0) in both teams' Big 12 opener next Saturday, Sept. 27.
