The injury is not expected to force Sims to miss any games.
The Crimson Tide (4-0), ranked No. 3 in the latest AP Poll, have a bye next weekend before playing at Ole Miss.
Saban: Blake Sims bruised right shoulder. But he is OK. "It's probably good that we have a bye week."
