Rutgers projects that its athletics revenue will increase 16.6 percent over the next year, according to documents obtained by NJ.com.

According to the documents, the Scarlet Knights' projected athletics revenue for 2014 is $35.6 million, including $8.5 million from the American Athletic Conference.

The school's projected athletics revenue for 2015 is $41.5 million, including $10 million from the Big Ten.
